i'm not very good

so, i'm not very good at this whole blogging thing...i don't do it often and never about anything interesting, but today i am tired and drama is brewing, so i'm not on for long. oop! there i go! toodles!

okay, so i broke my promise

about fridays. but i'm writing so that has to count for something. it is coming on finals week which is mildly stressful but okay because then school is over. I just finished my tech theatre final project and am now going to go sleep (maybe)but, i'm so excited about annie coming that i don't think i could sleep. we are going to have so much fun. and...yeah. i'm happy. and listening to good music.

so it isn't friday...

okay, so maybe it isn't friday, but i was rather busy then. I was taking care of four children. (they were super exausting)and then i went to the new england drama festival for three days and am home for fourteen and a half hours before i leave to catch a plane and i don't get back home until sunday afternoonish. so, anyway, i'm wicked tired but i had a great weekend, got to spend it all with friends which was nice and now i'm off to watch mary poppins and sleep because i am going to topple over any second.

I've decided

That after this week i will write on fridays. Since this is called "Falling in love on a Friday" i thought that that would be appropriate and maybe keep me writing a bit more. i don't have a ton to report however. today is easter, i got a hammock (but it is snowing a bit so today is not the day to use it) and we currently have no heat (we are getting some later) but that is about it. I am going to the new england drama festival next weekend which i am thrilled about!!!! and then i'm off to virginia/west virginia. that is about everything from me. oh! and there is no arthritis, thank goodness.

Flowers, Love, Candy, and Birthdays

Here it comes again...the Valentines day excitement. All the high school and middle school dances, the roses being sent secretly, the making out in the hall, the giggling about boys and who is going to the dance with who, and for me, the five or so thirteen year old girls showing up at my house to celebrate another year in my sister's life. So here it is, the day where single people feel left out and couples feel pressed upon to do something. I don't think this is how it should be though. Valentines Day should be a day to express all sort of love. Brotherly and sisterly love, familial love, love of friends, as well as romantic love. Everyone has someone to love, so why not take this day to look at someone and remind them that you love them? Do it, it will put a smile on someones face. You never know.

Vitamin String Quartet

I 'accidently' borrowed a friend's ipod after we went to the movies and i needed to read Jane Eyre and so i couldn't have lyrics in the music i was listening to so i went through his ipod and found a playlist labeled "Classical CD" and when i looked in it all the songs were from the same artist so i turned it on and started reading. At about the third song i noticed that it sounded familiar, yet i had never heard of the artist. i realised it was a cover of "Stairway to Heaven" and then i noticed that all the songs were covers. It is a String Quartet doing covers of pop songs. I have now fallen in love with them and put them on now, not only when i am reading Jane Eyre, but when i am doing something like...posting a blog (Bohemian Rhapsody is now playing) So, i thought i would recomend them.

People from all over the world send their secrets to this man on a postcard annoymously and he choses some and posts them online on sundays. happy

Yesterday, at about four, there was an influx of people into my house. Friends, family, friends of friends, the whole nine yards. It was our annual winter party and I've never had so much fun. I had twelve or so friends come to my house and we played apples to apples and risk, and 'let's be crazy awesome teenagers' The biggest surprise of the night came at about seven thirty when a car drove up my drive way and i ran over to see who it was and it was my oldest and dearest friend, anakin, who came to see me for the first time in months. An even better surprise came when we were all sitting in the living room and i looked around and realized that two of my favorite people in the world, were talking to each other and actually enjoying each other. My best friend and my boyfriend were talking an enjoying it.
it made me happy.
